What I Learned on My Trip to Spain

I recently traveled halfway across the world to Spain and you know what I found out? They’re a lot like us, those Spaniards. Except they work half as hard and smoke twice as much as we do. You can tell it’s the crack of noon when they rise from their beds and the sound of a thousand smokers’ coughs echoes up and down the streets, heralding another day filled with delicious meals fried in rich Spanish oil.

The Learning Curve

The best thing we can do for ourselves, our children and our future is to reverse our current budgetary policies and get back to putting our money toward education and especially great teachers and a complete curriculum. Then the prison situation will largely take care of itself.

What I wish Obama would say at town hall meetings

Healthcare. Who knew it would eclipse such hot button issues as the bank and auto maker bailouts, the legality of abortion or the rights of gay people to marry?
